Track Pick:

Grooveland pres. AfroBrazil E.P
Various Artist

This is my track pick for this week.A combination of very good producers come together to offer some of thier deep tech selections that is still taking the music world in a different direction. All feat. producers and artist include "See Mi Dub" by Yotam Anvi.A deep house journey with beautiful keys and elements to make it work."Quero Falar" (featuring Selma do Coco on vocals)-by Azee Project is yet another example of how deep the housemusic hole goes.Loving this cut!! Next on deck is DJ Rico's Musica (Brazil Groove),this cut has that hot Brazillian feel to it and works on any dancefloor especially with the smooth portuguese vocals added, simply wonderful. Finally this hot E.P features typical samba instruments like whistle, cuica, pandeiro, reco-reco and agogo.
Haldo's Latin Dream (Samba Mix),has it all.

This is a serious deep tech house package with some unknown and well known producers at the helm. All I can say is that Im digging the entire package and suggest to purchase all these deep down in the cut grooves."Black Angel" is where is at! Deep Emulation is a trip down that tech house road without loosing it's luster."Final Conviction" is deep, dark but yet has a great feel of South Africa flavors that have been catching the ears of the dancemusic world as of late."Moshito" has got to be my pick of this already fantastic E.P. very trippy and deep is what I need and found it in this release."Point of Deep" is something else.A combination of deep house chords and electronic sounds make this cut stand out period. This is an overall complete and solid release and it's my Pick of the Week.

"Me" (Jannae Jordan)
Consortium Muzik

Consortium Muzik brings back to life a Shelter Classic with very nice remixes by Tony Loreto,Mark Di Meo,Said So,and the hot ChrisIDH... This is a very nice release and cannot find a favorite mix at this time.

Urban People - Jesus Gonsev
Prog City Deep

Madrid based Jesus Gonsev drops a serious deep house joint entitled "Urban People".Prog City Deep has been bringing some serious deep house cuts lately and taking notice. This E.P also comes with a total of 4 mixes to choose from, all with the best deep house music has to offer.I've been a huge fan of Jesus Gonsev and find him to be top notch when it comes to produing. The other tracks included are "Peanut Butter Pie"-which is my Fav Pick,"The deep down cut "Invencibile" which is on that Kevin Yost tip and "Accupunture" an electronic track but without loosing the deep side of things.

If time permits,I suggest to check out the releases on this label. All thier releases are directed towards quality deep house music that won't ever go away."I really need you" is on some deep Theo Parrish,Moodyman,Dj Aakmael tip,so you know the sound. All the mixes are emotional in the sense that you can sit back and relax.Grab a glass of wine and enjoy this marvelous release.

The Shogun is a deep technoid record for both the club and the home, where intricate key patterns and percussive layers rule.
The Uninvited Partners are the Parisian based pair Sylvian Serval and Nicolas de Susini, who are influenced by everyone from The Doors to Ron Trent and NWA. In the past their music has seen the light of day via Deeplay Soultec, Rachdingue Records and Enjoy Recordings.
FOCUS OF THE SHOGUN is a brilliant dancefloor bound winner. It takes its strength from bright keys, striding beats and cool bass work.
DAY OF THE SHOGUN is a beautifully restrained cut. It features oriental keys, gorgeous strings and bubbling percussion.
RISE OF THE SHOGUN is another heartfelt effort. A rising bass, kaleidoscope keys and soft beats meet on this wonderful EP closer.
