Here we go again with one of those hot tracks that had previous success.This nice number now returns once again with an entire new feel and vibe to captivate your dancefloor.Im really feeling these new mixes by:
1)Lars Behrenroth (Deeper Shades of House)This is a deep tech-house musical journey with some serious haunting keys and dark beats to open up this hot re-release.
2)Delano Smith(Detroit)Drops a hot deep house "Dub Mix" Detroit style Remix of his own that will not dissapoint.WOW !
3)Steve Soul Basics Remix- This is on the club side of things but still effective enough to satisfy those that are into deep house.Good job on this mix.
4)Martijn-Delivers a nice touch by keeping it more on the original side of things but still has it's own flavor.
5)Jota Wagner-completes this already slammin release by adding his own interpretation of DEMA.More on the club tip,your dancers will love this version.Just fantastic all around.
**I'm having a difficult time choosing a favorite mix at this time,my advice is to pick up the entire package**.

The Jaffers are back with yet another obscure release with mixes by Llorca who graces us with a classic sounding "Boogie Mix" done correct.Very nice elements and broken-vocals gives it an obscure feel.Salokin brings his own feel to the dancefloor,a bit more commercial but still effective.The hot Deep INC gives us a nice dancefloor friendly remix with dark synths and heavy beats,Arnaud D Eleck Mix is a tech-house,filled with nice music to compliment the vocals.The L.P version is raw funky track with all the original vocals attached.Fav Mix: Arnaud D Eleck Mix

Here we have another nice vocal track by T.D.J. with 4 mixes to choose from,I'm positive there is one that will fit nicely into your set.This sulty vocal track has that West Coast sound that I really enjoy.If you like Lisa Shaw,then you will love this release.The T.D.J Remix offers the vocals with very nice keys and bassline.A quality recording.Butcher brings a nice remix with a hot bassline and fall back dub vocals,while Christos Kessidis gets deep in the cut!! This mix does it for me,simply amazin.Fianally we have the Original Mix offers the complete vocals,just sultry! Ok..this is very nice,great guiter work(sounds live which is very sexy),the organ riffs are exceptional as well as the vocals by Emily Rose.I enjoy tracks like these that make sense.This package comes with a Vocal,a nice Instrumental,2 Accapella Versions(You know what Im thinking,lol),2 Dubs,one by the hot Deep and Soul and one by Deemah. Vocal which is every techy sounding and the added faint vocals are a nice touch,Deemeah Trippy Dub(Which is indeed trippy) and a deephouse vocal Dub by Deep n Soul which I think is just fantastic! Whew!! Wait! There is more in this full package!! A "Unclesound Deep and Soul Trippy Vocal and Dub & Instrumental....wow! This is one heck of a release! Slip this in your set! Great job all around,I cant find a Fav Mix,I love the entire package.

Foul Tracks vol. 2 – Jersey Bound

The beats are harder, the sound is refined, and Groove is on a mission to make his impression on dance floors throughout the world. ”Jersey Bound”, we all know Groove’s origins, and this time around he’s back and he’s taking us along with him to his home of sanctuary with this new EP, “Foul Tracks vol. 2”.

We kick this EP off with a 4 to the Floor stomper called “Shore Points”, a track filled with potential energy which builds upon a hard kick, classic chord stabs, and slow building strings which set the mood.

“GSP Groove”, gritty, heated, mesmerizing, in other words, this is Groove’s state of mind.

Tony Loreto launches his new label Spirit Sound Records and open things up with a very nice vocal track "I Lost a good friend" feat the great vocals of Nickson bought to us by the young up and coming producer ChirsIDH.This package has some very nice mixes by Tony Loreto,ChrisIDH,Mark Di Meo(Keep an ear out for this producer),Antonio Dj Mauro,Dj Hypnosis each with thier own flava.Big ups to Tony Loreto for featuring up and coming producers in this release.
Tracklist:
1) Original Mix- This mix features the full vocal of Nickson layin it down with a nice message! NICE!

2)Spirit Sound Classic Mix- This mix is bit more harder but still offers great results and compliments the vocals.The keys are magical and has that old school feel to it.Nice mix Mr.Loreto.
3)Dj Hypnosis"Life afta Life Mix"- Very hypnotic and techy track nicely layed out.
4)Tony Loreto Rmx- Tony brings it again in this particular mix.With heavy beats and hot tech-house,this is a very hot production.*The keywork is dope in that it sounds like "Klein and MBOs" synths of back-in-the-day sounds.
5) Mark di Meo- This producer is the one to watch! This is a very tight mix and the elements are clean,good production all the way around...Mark di Meo also offers an Instrumental of this mix.
*Be on the lookout for Tony Loreto and Mark di Meo mixes of Weysa Dya's "Connected Minds" & "The Dream"...nuff said!
6)Antonio Dj Mauro- Antonio offers a nice mix with old school disco-influence with this production.Very Nice.

Im a huge fan of Aqua Bassino and it's been a while since thier last release.In this offering we have a nice a deep disco spoken-word joint with a new perspecitve on the musical tip incorporated with that traditional Aqua Bassio sound.Manuel Perez throws down his own interpration with a twist of tech-house and electronic sounds with added spoken-word lyrics to make this a very sultry release.
Dj Mourad has his own vision to add to this already nice package.Mourad focuses more on the electronic-house tip making it obscure in it's own right.Finally Ralph Dumas wrap things up with this deep spacey house track that is one of my favs of this package,not to take away from the other mixes but this is the one Im feeling!!

Jozana brings us his versions of Jill Scott's "Crown Royal" & The Real Thing".IMO,the music is very nice but Jill Scott can sound better than she does in both these cuts.Not to take away from Jozana's efforts with he offers his talents and production skills in the arena.Some will find these mixes very nice nonetheless.I'll give Jozana an "A" for musical-effort.

Here we have a very nice E.P by PlusGroove.This release offers 3 very tight mixes starting with "Tribes of Puerto Rico" a journey into percussion madness is the way to start off a E.P.A hot breakdown for any dancefloor.The second track named "Somthing in my Life" has the feel of an old school track with dark keys and beats of which is Plusgroove's signature sound.Keeping it deep n dark is the way these underated producers get down! the vocals portion works wonders for this track.The 3rd track entitled "Red Ring" is another way Plusgroove represent and express themself...with qualtiy deep grooves which will make a nice addition to any collection.

D' Sharp Records.

D' Shap Records and Joe Flame aka AJFP (another underated producer,writer and composer) delivers a inspiring vocal track with gospel implications and postive lyrics sung by Carl Brister.Can I get a witness ?? The mixes are just fantastic and I consider this a top 10 for me.Additional tracks "Pray for me" and "The Party Song" are just as wonderful as

"Champion".I feel blessed just listening to this positive release.

"Wasn't Good Enough" (The Tony Moss Project) Mantree Records

As we continue this review session,I came across this very interesting up-coming release entitled ""Wasn't Good Enough" The Tony Moss Project which is produced yet by another under appreciated producer Rasmir Mantree.Ive been digging some of these so-called new additions to our musical culture.This cut is absolulty gorgeous in it's own right and perhaps Rasmir has come to understand the stuggles that come with quality production.This package is written by Tony Moss and the vocals/lyrics are sexy and meaningful to say the least.It's a cross-over between R & B and dancemusic respectively.Let's review these mixes because this release offers a bit of everything.

* The Chicago Mix vocals sound a bit off but when you hear it again,you can tell where Rasmir is going with it,an open-mind would help*.

Tracklisting:
1) Wasn't Good Enough - The Lovers Mix is where is at with an R & B - Downtempo feel to the music and vocals that will drive the women crazy ! Love this mix!

2) Mantree Mix - Deep and sexy without loosing touch with the dancers in mind.Fantastic Mix !

3) Original Mix - This mix is interesting in that it offers what sounds like a mash-up but soon come to light what Rasmir is representing which is a musical journey with the sexy vocals of Tony Moss.

4) Chicago Mix - Here is another interpretation but this time with a bit more umphh to it ! More pumpy but still has that deep house element we all still enjoy.

Cant find a favorite mix but I must say Im feeling the downtempo R&B feel to the "Lovers Mix"..

CyberJamz Records present a re-release of the magnificent "A star is being born EP" by T. Solomon originally put out by 50/50 Records in limited quantities back in 2004 (you might remember this label from 1992/1993 classics such as "A day in may" by Lenny Fontana or "I got U" by Tony Moss). T. Solomon impresses with heartfelt vocals, with the title track being wonderful soulful r&b jam, followed by the mid tempo jazz-funk groover "Don't give up". "Ride the bass" is a jazz-funk oozing up-tempo affair, while "What" is a fierce underground styled track. But the real delight here is the unreleased version of "Shame on you" featuring the legendary Taana Gardner alongside T. Solomon on vocals.

This lable has captured my attention as they continue to release some of those deep house moments "some" of us still enjoy,Yes...the sexy laid back deep as in Larry Heard,Jordash & JuJu,Theo Parrish,Moodyman and Dj Aakmael just to name a few.It seems that with each release,the quality of production work is getting better and better.I've also have received quite a few L.Ps from this label.Here we go.

Between Houses EP comes with 3 deep undeground cuts titled "Des".
1) The Original Mix- Very spacey keys and thumpin deep beats makes this one very moody!
2) Imugem Orihasam - This one is bit harder but those deep chords is wassup!! Deephouse at it's best.
3) Paskal - WOW ! Coming in at 115 Bmps of which I would like to hear more of,this is it! Paskal has all the deep house elements on lock with this mix! Fav Mix.
4) For the Love of Nothing - Original Mix. More upbeat tempo in this track but still as effective as the others and will work on those atmospheric environments early morning 10am + parties..Just marvelous.
5) Anti-Crisis - This is an unusal cut in that it offers a bit of an electronic while not loosin any of the quality found in that DETROIT sound.

3) White Dew (Original Mix) - Andy Hart starts this beautiful mix with a small sample of Rufus & Chaka Khan's "Do you love what you feel" and the rest as we say is history! Deep!!!
4) Ask my heart(Original Mix) - Fassbinder,where did this label find such hidden talent? Im sure these guys have other material and since I've heard thier production work for the first time,Im truly impressed.This cut is ALL that!! Trust!
5) Righteously So Not(Original Mix)- Jaska Pavicevic offers something I cannot refuse.A mezmorizin deephouse treat that even those that dont like underground house will become a fan just because of the qualtiy of music presented in this mix.Drive in the car and pop this L.P in the cd player.
6) Incubus(Original Mix)- Jose Quilez comes smashing threw the dancefloor with this cut.80's elements and keys make this one yet another number on this L.P
7) Sweep(Original Mix)-Verano made me notice that this music is not dead! More on the peak-side of things but stillkeepin it a bit obscure is something I truly enjoy and so will you.
8) My Keepsake(Original Mix) SumSuch..who are these massive producers that came out of nowhere to surprise me? This cut sounds like some ol skool 80s-90s flava without loosing the taste for the new.
9) Smoke abd Mirrors (Original Mix)- Si Muir offers a dope 115 BMP joint that captures that slower house style we all used to enjoy.Dope!
10) Gutenachkuss(Original Mix)- Hannes Smith is another hidden gem somewhere in this world and is ready to be heard.Period ! What a lovely track! Bravo !

Another label that has been pumpin out good stuff.Nothing "MORE" to say other than that Stephaine Cooke has been smokin as usual.The vocals are just beautiful,with a nice mix by Dj Hypnosis.The Original Mix does it for me but don' sleep on the "Deep Dub" & the Remastered Vocal Dub of which brings out the best in this track.

Rasmir continues his qwest and contributes a pretty nice E.P entitled "Blaq n Mild E.P"..This producer has been on the underated list for a minute.When I first heard this E.P,I almost passed on a really good E.P,with that said "Blaq n Mild" is a nice track with added flutes and guiter sounds like an ol skool track but with an updated beat and chants is not bad."Mid Life" is indeed a nice piece surrounded mild piano riffs and percussions,and to complete this package we have "Satin Romance" a pumpy percussion joint with latin flavors make this my favorite out of the 3.The organs on this track is smokin !!

5) Mark Di Meo Deepest Mix - Mark throws down a peak-time mix but keeping it nice and the vocals over this particular mix is fantastic!
6) SEB A-Vocal Dub - Can someone say Old Skool but with a new attitude? I can with this very nice Vocal Dub.

Marc Fisher brings forth a very nice track in "Playmate Puzzle" ( Marc Fisher has shared the turntables with the world's top DJs
such as Armand van Helden, Eric Morillo, Roger Sanchez to name a few.Marc is not new to the scene and it shows in this release,with remixes by remixes from Carl Roda, and Matan Caspi.Both mixes have something different that Im sure dancemusic lovers will find interesting.

"Shadow Man" (Timothy Martin)-Demo

Here we have an interesting piece,it's not house,it's not techo,but it is a obscure sort of a cross between alternative rock and roll and ol skool Rock.If you like to be obscure in your sets or enjoy rock and roll groups like Nirvana or Van Halen,then this track is for you and your dancers.Im really enjoyin this track just because it's different!

It's been a while for CityDeep Recs & Halo.They return with nice vocal release (Re-Visited),this time the package comes with mixes by Beppe Gioia (Unified/Cyberjamz Recs,Darryl James,Halo & Jamie Thinnes (Seasons Records) feat Rocco (RealTone Recs),and William Reelsoul Rodriquez adds a wonderful mix to this already hot track.DaSoul,Fabry Diglio & M.A.D boss has truly been impressive and with the additional vocals by William Scott,this track is complete! If you enjoyed the first set of mixes,then this second set of remixes is even better!
I cannot find a favorite mix for they all bring thier talents to the table.

Emuzik out of Detroit comes strong with "Night Runner".A journey into deep tech house with all the right elements to become a very nice piece.A nice bass-line along some keyboard chords and minimal break-down is not bad and has potential.IMO,adding a vocal to this track and additional music would really make it complete.

San Francisco's own Morrison delivers a wonderful vocal.What I really enjoy about this track other than the production work of Colin Sales (Pulse FM) amoung the other remixers of this project is that Morrisson displays his vocal talents and sings with conviction.The song is awesome and has meaning of which is lacking in some songs today and the music is gorgeous with latin-flava's and sexy saxophone say it all within these mixes,I love it!.Release comes with an Original Mix,a Minimal Dub version,Colin Sales drops a Nu-House Dub Mix which holds it's own,Rebecca Vasmant Remix has an international feel to it while Sonikross Moonlight lends out his hand and brings forth a nice Remix to complete this package.

This particular lable has caught my attention last year.As the new year is now amoung us,they are on a mission to continue where they left off.If your a fan of my reviews you may notice that I review this label and give it all my attention,because they have something to offer...very obscure deep house music that is beyond what we are used to hearing."Garthenlaube" by Hannes Smith is yet another demonstration that true underground music does and still exsist.Quality is the main focus.The mixes by tONKPROJECT,
Fassbinder, and Venedikt Reyf is a combination of true producers staying loyal to thier sounds and representing deep-house for sure..If you enjoy deep Detroit sounds by Moodyman,Larry Heard,Dj Aakmael (Just to name a few),then I highly recommend any release by this label or producers.Cannot find a favorite mix due to the excellent remix abilities of each project.

Jellybean Soul meets Chicago Underground with Grand High Priest on “Surely”
Craig Loftis has been in the Chicago music scene since 1979 starting as a promoter, than a DJ, to the sound engineer and opening DJ for Frankie Knuckles’ club the PowerPlant 1015,and eventually moving into production with Frankie and helped to create the production company PowerPlant LTD. When Frankie decided to leave Chicago in 1988, Craig was offered the position as chief engineer in charge of production for DJ International Records where he remained for the next eight years. In that time Craig engineered, mixed and produced songs for Fast Eddie, Tyree Cooper, Julian Perez, Badboy Bill, Frankie Hollywood Rodriguez, Joe Smooth, Sterling Viod, Paris Brightledge and Mike Dunn just to name a few. In 2000 Craig‘s career moved forward as strong as every, he started a new promotion company, Loftwerk Productions and is responsible for some of the hottest party’s in Chicago. Loftwerk Productions Has worked with such artists as Loleatta Holloway, Ava Cherry, Sharon Pass, Darryl Pandy, Byron Stingily, Rochelle Flemming, Georgie Porgie and Martha Wash. Craig also became a member of the Slang Music Group, a remixing company based in Chicago. During his time with Slang, Craig has done mixes on such artist as Pink, Kelly Price, Sisco, R-Kelly, Ruff Endz, Backstreet Boys and Whitney Houston. Craig has also started his own (long awaited) record label Loftwerk Records Chicago that had its first release “DREAMIN” In February 2002. The second single “You Are All I Need” released in 2003. Craig currently holds two residences Friday night at the Prop house with the Rails Marketing Group for the last 5 years. And Saturday night at the Prop house with the Warehouse Productions Craig is a true Legend to the Chicago house music scene and no doubt someone to watch in the future to come.

This is a fantastic track with mezmorizing vocals by Marcus Pearson.To further complete this lovely vocal,Maurice Joshua thows down a serious mix,while Abicah Soul gets deep down in the cut with his mix,Dj Smash offers a more peak-hr mix while using auto-tune over the vocals(nice)!.David Ospina does what he do best and that is remix an already hot song and incorporated it directed towards the dancers and dancefloor.The main man Oscar P has a serious mix for you tech house heads and Fresh Sol offers a hot dub mix with a serious break-down and bass-line.Gianluca Motta Remix & Gianluca Motta n Max Castrezzati is one hot tech-house joint with all the correct bells and whistles to make it a dancefloor favorite and with the added vocals,all I can say this is a complete package.I noticed that I've missed a few other mixes to this already massive release and the talent continues with a hot mix by Nino Anthony - Groove Heavy Mix which concentrate more on the oversea's sound.To wrap things up we have yet another bangin mix by Angel Manuel Mix 2-more on the electronic side and minimal vocals and added keys with chants is hot!! The rest of the package is not bad either but more on the harder-electronic-deep-tech side of things..by Ali Blackblast & Luca Citoli en Labrinto- Alex & Chris Mixes.A nice release with plenty to choose from is what I enjoy the most about this package.

If your a house-jazz lover,then this your kind of E.P,filled with saxophone riffs this is one nice package.Andy Holder offers a few mixes to choose from and in my opinion they all bangin ! Patrick Green has his own "Saxful Funk Mix" which stands out from the other mixes.I recommend this release that really enjoy the true sounds of housemusic.

"Chills" & "Give me Love" ( Keith Porter )

I've always been a huge fan of Keith Porter and he has been working on some music on the side.This track here is what I would call a slammin jazzy but funky joint that will have your crowd in a frenzy! This has to be one of his best productions besides "Give me Love" which demonstrates that Keith Porter can produce both instrumental & vocal tracks.A true gift for any quality producer.

WOW!!! Dj Sagi took this classic into a journey and direction that I thought could'nt be possible.This Dj is truly gifted and it shows with this Time-Less of the classic "Time"(like a clock in my heart)...Nice !

"Stronger than Me" (Amy Winehouse-Nassau Re-Loved Mix)
If you know Nassau and his remixes,mashes and edits,then you know his offering of this cut has to be bangin! and indeed it is.Very sexy and well produced.

"200 Hot Spells of Yourba"( Kaytronic- Dj Blayne Mash-Up) & "See Line Woman on 33rd St." ( DJ Blayne Mash-Up)
Dj Blayne is another under appreciated programer and in this case I gots to give him props on these 2 slammin Mash-Ups.I noticed alot of Djs are getting into making more mash-ups and re-mixes as of late and Dj Blayne has his hand in the air with these 2 hot funky mashes.

Many of us are well aware of talent coming out of South Africa.This particular E.P is Smoth Agent first release showcasing the talents Mushroom Boyz which consist of Menzi Khumalo & Thabo Motikoe."The Naheng EP" is another example why the music has marked and holds it's own destiny.Quality is the word I can think of when I listen to these gifted producers.I would like to tip my hat off to Smooth Agent Records for taking action in finding such talent.The first track on this E.P is entitled "Mokela Naheng" is a deep minimal house track full of haunting synths and tribal sounds that will work on any dancefloor.I can see it now,played in nice system."Pitiki" is another slammin Black Coffee sounding joint but holds it's own with different sounds and percussions,this is a true deep house track!! Loving it ! Fianlly they left the best for last in "Slave Song" which captures the true essence of African chants,deep chords,persussions and deep sounds that will make your dancers ask for more.A true gem...I can't find a favorite.

The original version by Tim McAllister features sultry vocals by Weysa Dya alongside infectious chords over a deeply stormin' groove, with the 'Dance Mix' being a mesmeric alteration of the original that turns the heat up. Mark Di Meo and Tony Loreto team up for a wonderfully instrumentated, laidback yet contaminous set of remixes that includes vocal, stripped down vocal and instrumental versions. "It's Over" ( Marc Sir Dane) Mantree Records.

Oh Oh..what have we here? This is a very 80's sounding production track with nice vocals by Marc Sir Dane..Remind me of the hot "Jack your Body" track from the Dj Internatonal Records.Electronice sounds and deep chords makes this a very nice release for this label.Rasmir out did himself with this cut.All the mixes are on-point.The "Freedom Mix" is my favorite but the Raw Mix is more about the vocals and the last mix is more of a peak-hr pumpier version than the previous 2.Good job!

The deepness continues for this label,artist and producers.Hannes Smith bring some serious deep-obscure sounds and music.The reason why Im really digging this E.P is the tracks are so mezmorizing and leaves the listener or dancer in a trance.I enjoy these kinds of obscure productions for concentration,meditation and dancing purposes when Im mellow on the dancefloor.Quality production work on all the pieces of this wonderful E.P.

Tracklist:

1) '19810' - This is a really deep down in the gut cut that I truly enjoyed off this E.P
BTW '19810' (means a sad feeling about leaving your home explodes like a geysir in your heart. Arrived at your final destination, feeling happy and free, listening to 'Dis, quand reviends-tu' you recognize to go and take the next ride to begin another round in circle). Truly inspirational.

2) Snipe - to create a feeling of leaving and exploring a new place. - WOW ..A person can really connect with this producer and his heart.

3) 'Dis, quand reviends-tu' - means you recognize to go and take the next ride to begin another round in circle.

This is a true heart-felt track that I think most of us moving along with life itself can relate to and it's my favorite of the 3 with respect to the other 2 quality numbers offered in this package.

I have been inspired from this release therefore Im going to construct a mix consisting of how my days are in general.The set will contain my morning,noon and night portions of my life and I will try and get in the mood to accomplish this mission on my Cyberjamz Show.Monday from 8am- 2pm est. Hope you can join me for what is sure to be a journey into my personal life but using music as the "many moods" that I go through each and every day.

I also received a good history lessons on a few German words in reference to the word "Heimwehg" which is a mixture of the German word 'heimweh' (aching for home) and 'heimweg' (the way home). These two words represent the sound of Hannes Smith's first own release. Hannes, born in the former German communist area in 1986, lived in Reykjavik for the past two years and wrote this EP about the way back home to Germany.

Here is how Hanes Smith interpret his vision and journey which reflects in his production work in this particular E.P

When you don't have a single home, the no man's land of being in transit can be strangely comforting." The sound of 'Heimwehg' stands for the mood of in between: everything in between leaving a place and arriving in a new world created by the feeling of an aching heart and the rhythms of travelling. Grooving rhythm patterns of organic sounds combined with dreamy and haunting sounds make this travel back home to your heart an unforgetable journey.

Describing the way with 'heimwehg' everything starts with 'SNPE' to create a feeling of leaving and exploring a new place. Once you are sitting in the airplane or train and listen to '19810' the sad feeling about leaving your home explodes like a geysir in your heart. Arrived at your final destination, feeling happy and free, listening to 'Dis, quand reviends-tu' you recognize to go and take the next ride to begin another round in circle.

This release has that deep signature sound by one of Chicago's best producers Anthony Nicholson.This time around he features the talented Avery R. of which brings to mind the words like "sultry" and "smooth".This vocalist has what it takes and delivers this lovely piece that is sure to bring the word "meaningful" back to songwriting.The music is layed out correct and delivers.The only word to wrap this up is "qualtiy" ! .

Time to get your groove on with that special significant other while you play this on the dancefloor.:)

The debut EP from audioJazz, “Summer City Nights,” consists of three spirited House tracks that materialized out of fond memories from NYC loft parties, growing up on the Lower East Side and aimless walks through Chicagoland parks. Representing an inspirational starting point for audioJazz (musician Dirty Turk and engineers Bai-ee and K Koltz), this well-timed EP hits just as winter’s unrelenting bite takes its toll. Evoking thoughts of legendary loft parties on “Summer City Nights,” playful memories and sounds of children reveling in “Park Life,” and feeling that unabating need for the summer sun to “Come Back to Me.” Adorned by a taste of Yvonne Gage’s monster vocals, hinting at what’s to come on future audioJazz releases, this first EP paints a picture that may remind some people of earlier times, but will have everyone looking forward to future summer city nights!

“Summer City Nights” – The self-titled lead track serves as a classic House call . . . inspired by sounds that emanated from legendary loft parties of NYC’s past, audioJazz musician Dirty Turk throws you right into the heat. Teasing reflections of a night in the city take shape with a rich and deep bass line, coupled with layered piano hits, and a flowing lead solo . . . an expression that could only have come from the close bond formed early on, having been able to create and grow musically, with life-long friends and the best in the business – Mateo & Matos, Big Brooklyn Red, Scott Wozniak. In the midst of all of this, Yvonne Gage’s distinct vocal stylings call out to you, leading up to an inspiring chant proper for late night dance floor sessions, reminiscent of hot “Summer City Nights.”

“Come Back to Me” – A track inspired by summer’s warm sunshine and the reality of winter’s cruel grip. A Diamondancer/Yvonne Gage duet that begs for the sun’s gentle warmth to come over them while the classic beat track takes you on a musical journey in and out of the summer season. Enlightening pads, gentle hits off the harpsichord and a throwback synth break represent the summer months paving the way towards an unexpected aggressive breakdown/bridge of winter inspired deep tech. There is no doubt you are left yearning for the sun again as the track leads you back to the light, with bright warm pads and the relentless plea of Diamond and Yvonne, calling out to “Come Back to Me.”

“Park Life” – Perhaps the most conceptual addition to the EP, this track is an intimate peek into much of what inspires and motivates audioJazz. Bai-ee’s rising gentle percussion and sounds of children in a playground on Chicago’s north side mixed with Dirty Turk’s NYC-style deep pads create a sublime feeling of positivity, a heavy kick and snare combination that seemingly fall out of the sky . . . and suddenly you are experiencing the gentle sounds of “Park Life.” Relaxing hits off a saxophone, a powerful bass line stomp, classic piano riffs and inspired breakdown with rising pads. Everything is put into perspective, the sounds that define the magic of family, summertime and “Park Life.”
