Born and raised in London, England, Sheldon Prince has had the good fortune of a musically informed life since day-one. With his father being involved in the music industry all his life, primarily for the legendary Motown Records, and as a modern jazz drummer, it should come as no surprise that Sheldon's heart lies firmly within the realm of funky, soulful sounds, be it disco, rare groove, '70s soul, garage or modern day house music. After transplanting to Miami in the mid-nineties, Sheldon was introduced to DJ and promoter, Vaughan Lazar who took notice of his talents behind the decks, and so began their famous Lust parties (still going strong to this day check www.lust4house.com for full info.) Through Lust, Sheldon met house music legend and Soulfuric owner, Brian Tappert in 2000, thus beginning his journey as a member of the Soulfuric Recordings staff. Reigning currently as the head of operations for both Soulfuric and premier online music store, www.traxsource.com, Sheldon continues in the family tradition of full musical immersion as one of Miami's most highly regarded underground DJs. Sheldon's Afterdark mix captures the essence of the Miami vibe and Soulfuric esthetic, with body-moving rhythms, uplifting melodies and soul drenched vocals. Jose Garcia a.ka. Nacho Vega is Co-Owner of Soul Selection Records founded in 2006 with House Music Veteran and long time friend Juan Sanchez. DJing professionally for 6 years and 11 years overall, Nacho Vega got his start in the mid 1990's during the heavy Florida Breakbeat Movement alongside good friends and label mates Rob-E, Jason Brown and dj Security. Nacho Vega has held residencies at Club Energy in Melbourne, The Den at Firestone, Sunday Skool at the Shack, The Dragon Room and Foundation Radio 96.9FM. And played alongside some of the biggest names and friends in Breakbeat, House and Hip-Hop at some of the largest venues and outdoor festivals in the Country. At 26 years of age he has shifted his focus and energy to the Sounds of Deep Soulful House and Hip-Hop with the opportunity to play Lounges, Clubs and Private Events on the West Coast and South East for the last 3 years. With 11 Independent Underground Mix CD Releases under his belt. Nacho Vega is best known for his smooth mixes and blends of Deep Soulful House and Underground Sounds. Now playing his first Hoochie Productions event, Nacho Vega is excited to open the festivities at the Peacock Room in a rare very exclusive early set that will be one of a few limited and very selective House Music appearances in Orlando for 2007.
