GOTTA KEEP FAITH , is proud of this new release. The number 031 from the launch of this Italian label with mission to produce and promote fine and “rich of soul & spirit” house music.
D3 is an acronym for Davor Devcic Daga, a composer/producer/guitarist from Zagreb, Croatia. Influenced by underground disco (Started to listen funk'n'soul back in 1981, at age of 15), Jazz-Funk and Bossa-nova, D3 found his own smooth stylish mixture. D3's idea of deep house is to add some rich arrangements rather than southern minimalism. D3s songs from 2004 to 2006 include some talented Croatian vocalists that can be downloaded from www.traxsource.com under the Digipeng label, or found on Peng Records CD's My Twilight Blues, Soulfields and The Moment It. At the moment, D3's remix portfolio contains remixes for The Rurals, BRS, Rodrigo Sanchez and Karma (see link in friends).
“SEPTEMBER” is a fine, deep & jazzy project with the exclusive guitar solo played by D3 for all track. No vocals for the original track but just the melancholic sounds of D3 that gives you a little bit of summer nostalgia while you’re doing a true deep house journey. His guitar remember the George Benson’s touch. That’s first connection (but not the last) between talented Zagreb’s artist and GKF crew. At the “Original guitar mix” follow three remixes by Spiritual Blessings, Georg Neufeld and Jack In Da Box.
The “Spiritual Blessings' joyful sunrise mix” is a spiritual re-interpretation by Dj Jean & Dj Ezio with additional use of a sax, some carpets, and the piano solo performance made by jazz Maestro Gianni Lenoci. Joyfully!!!
The “Giorgie's re-scratch mix” is another fine touch of Georg Neufeld from Handhouse Records (Swiss). A lot of words are been spent about Georg. Recently Georg was gone in Chicago to produce some new works with OGC. Specialized on dub tracks, this re-scratch mix is an interior trip with some flute and keys spices. The devasting bass literally will capture bodies and souls of your deep dancefloor.
Close the project a Special remix. “Jack In Da Box paradise mix”. Jack In Da Box is the new pseudo of talented Frederic Faupin. Jack In Da Box go together names of Mr. Fuzz/Da Fuzz and Grantorino (The duo between Fred and DJ RICO). The French Dj build a wonderful remix of SEPTEMBER, deep, quiet, with use of percussions, synths, strings, and a superb female voice. Welcome!
