Black&White Orange Records is proud to present their first release in 2011 and it truly is an amazing one! This time the Berlin based producer CUR.L aka Oliver Markreich is showing his production talent with his latest track Why. After having already successfully released his remix of Curious George&The Agent's Luci Via on Black&White Orange Records this track perfectly reflects his own style and imagination of House music. The groovy but deep beat moves the percussions with care and its bassline supports the track with the right amount of funk and liveliness. The weird but wonderfully structured vocal parts create a very ambitious and lofty production indeed and the huge string sounds do not lack in creativity either. CUR.L's great experience and passion for House music is reflected in this original in many ways and we are very happy to have Why released on such a special occasion as on our 40th release!

On remix duties this time were Sean Danke and Philipp Ort. The Sean Danke Dub Mix purely shows his skills of creating Deep House at its best with a funky but minimalistic drum arrangement, a moody bassline, a creepy synth hook and his own reluctant vocal interpretation. His past releases have been supported and played by reams of well-known artists and never fail to exceed all expectations. The Philipp Ort remix in the other hand is a more pumping version of the original with a careful but thoughtful use of the filtered strings and vocals supported by a grooving beat which gets pushed into the forefront every now and then. This release is without a doubt a great way for Black&White Orange Records to start 2011!! Get your copy and get grooving!!

Sean Danke's full-on beat-laden dub employs a trancy tactic that brings the bass and the second half really revs. Philipp Ort's remix brings it far more subtley but more effectively by channeling and stretching the beats much deeper and not at all by relying on volume, but gravity.
