One of the hottest newcomers to land on the shores of the House scene, DJ/producer Ant LaRock is making quite a bit of noise, yet noise is the last word that could ever describe his productions. His debut single, "Sanctuary" on Dopewax, has got some seriously deep grooves, gummy bassline, percolating synth and the almighty 4/4 percussion accented by a strong rim click. The track's genius production lies in its simplicity. Weaving so smoothly throughout is the amazingly seductive and dynamic vocal of Agency, also a new artist whose overall performance on this single is truly other-worldly. Pulled from the recent #1 compilation Dopewax Approved: Kenny Dope and Friends, Sanctuary now comes to light with a full package including its Original Main Mix, Dub, Instrumental and Radio Edit. Mr. LaRock offers an additional Warehouse Vox 1.1 and Dub that get right to the meat of the beat with straight forward 4/4 renditions. Kenny Dope also steps up with a couple of slick remixes; his O'Gutta Remix flows with rhythmic shuffle, a feral-low-end bassline, and funky synth chord jabs.
