Groove Victim - Foul Tracks EP (Memoirs From The Bay) [Cyberjamz]
Jay Brown aka Groove Victim drops one of the dopest EP’s of the year to date. I’ve often described his work as “house music for grown ups” and these four tracks give me every reason to stick by that judgement. All four are high quality deep house that deliver in terms of rhythm, atmosphere and depth. I could just as easily crank up the volume and go nuts to this at home as I could in a club and whilst the “dance around your handbag brigade” might not get it, anyone who knows their house will certainly will.
