Jonny Cade is a name you may well have heard of after the success of his debut release, with friend and collaborator, Huxley (Cecille/Tsuba) on Kolour Recordings late last year. Here at Loco Records, we are very proud to say that we have been given the opportunity of releasing his first solo effort. "A Sanguine Lamb" is a beautifully crafted track, which shows off Jonny's love of digital and analogue music, fusing guitars with house beats and keys. The remix comes from the aforementioned, Huxley aka Michael Dodman, who is one of the newest and hottest deep house producers around at the moment. Huxley has already been involved with countless projects spanning a numerous genres and record labels. Michael has worked his way up after releasing his first EP "The Sassanids EP", in cooperation with Ethyl, on Cecille Numbers in 2009. After meeting Tsuba head-honcho, Kevin Griffiths at london party Fuse, Michael and Ethyl were offered to have their second vinyl released "The White EP". "Mother Tongue" from this EP really exploded after its release gaining the top spot on Beatport Deep House for over 5 weeks. It has subsequently been nominated for "Best Deep House Track 2010" at the Beatport Awards, pitted against the likes of Jimpster, Soul Minority and Aki Bergen. Now, by means of his remixed version of "A Sanguine Lamb", Michael adds a clubbier edge to Jonny's already exceptional original. The release is now available on Beatport.
