This is the second EP of DJ RICO released on GOTTA KEEP FAITH. But who is DJ RICO?
DJ RICO aka GRANTORINO aka ERIC PAZOUDA is one most talented artist in the GKF’s DJs Rooster. Dj Rico was born in Africa (brazilian father born in Sao Paolo), Rico's Djing career has spanned 18 years in various clubs around the world. In 1999 he starts the label K-Records in Toulouse (France) and released several tracks under the name Richevibes. He also worked as radio Dj on Radio Moove. Few years later with his friend Keurk, he started a band , Zwart, and some remixes the band made were released on Mr. Fuzz's album for the label Mozaik. Then he produced the track La Chica for Mr. Fuzz on the label Deep Grooves. Rico also produced some tracks under the name Grantorino (co-production with a friend, Mr. Fuzz), they released some titles on the labels Grab Recording (Texas) and S.F.P. Records (Miami), Tropicana Records (USA), Raisani Records (Dubai), and together Spiritual Blessings Productions for Gotta Keep Faith Records (Italy). He has collaborated on a documentary Hang The DJ produced by Marco & Mauro, and bringing together the music industry and international Djs (Kbert, Junior Vasquz, Roger Sanchez, Carl Cox). Qualified as France funkiest underground dj by the label Slip'n'Slide for who he selected and mixed the tracks for the compilation Soul'n'Jazz in the house released in February 2006 he will play in Asia, UK, France, USA, to present Soul'n'Jazz in the house. Regarding to the success of that release, Slip'n'Slide asked Rico to prepare the ....2, so he's in studio right now to do it! He also mixed for Slip'n'Slide another cd mix called Soul Food.

Surely this release will follow success of first “The Funkiees deep Ep” which is top seller of GKF catalogue. This new EP is a real BOMB!
The EP starts with My Paradise Garage, a track deep and dark with a dark male voice (he reflects the un-usual point of view of RICO). A progressive and deep mixture of samples really will kill the dancefloor. Soul Power reflects instead the pure funky Rico’s spirit. This is slammin’!!!! A lot of funky samples, synchopate sax and guitar, devasting bass and a super live voice. This track will sign you. Also people clap their hands . Afro Phunkya let show the Rico’s origins. Afro percussions and voices and always his funky soul. Deep and repetitive vibes, a super bass and a devasting groove make this track a dancefloor bullet. Close the EP That people underground another funky deep track in pure RICO’s style. This EP isn’t a common stuff, but an high quality productions from who has the music and the groove in its heart & soul!
