DJ Biography


Ronald J. Mitchener, Jr. of Creative Soul Music is better known as ?Mitchjr.?, a
DJ who loves and plays Deep and Soulful Underground House Music. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, now living in Prince George?s County Maryland, Mitchjr. has been spinning House Music for the past 20+ years. For 2 years, he played at the Place Lounge on Friday?s in Baltimore. Just over the past 5 years, he decided to pursue it more seriously and take his love of the music to the next level, business wise and professionally.
In pursuit of his vision, he was afforded the opportunity to meet MonaDee of 3Degrees Global and she believed in his talent right off the back. She is working with him as a Manager/Promoter for the love of the music.


He attended the WMC in 2013 for the first time and played at the Lilly and Shelly Hotels?thanks to DJ P.E.A.C.E. of SEM. At WMC 2014, he had a set lined up with Lisa Chaplin from BMC to WMC at the Liquor Lounge. He was also able to play 2 impromptu day sessions (4 hours each) at The Lounge Barber Shop & Bar?thanks to Mr. Stanley (the owner).
He continues to make great strides in this industry by continuously perfecting his craft and playing more at different parties in the coming months, locally and state-wide.
