Positively 4th Street is one of London's best bars, hidden away up Hampstead Road with the underground ambience of a New York speakeasy. The bar serves up lethal cocktails and the Japanese kitchen dishes up great food.
Providing the sounds and playing great records in the right order will be residents Rosko and Sumsuch, supported this month by Dan Twist. Dan is curator of the notorious Wonky Beats nights in Exeter, almost solely responsible for keeping the the West Country supplied with cutting edge acts from Jazzanova to Quantic Soul Orchestra.
The evening will be accompanied by live percussionist Tim Mercer from seminal Brighton seaside venue The Jazz Rooms. As ever the music will veer from broken beat through house, proper hiphop, jazz and weird electro.
