EMP Pop Music Conference After Party!

Acclaimed music historian Tim Lawrence, author of Loves Saves the Day: A History of American Dance Music Culture, calls New York dance party LIBATION a "special, intimate and friendly" party where "the focus is completely on the dancers and the dance floor." He goes on to praise it as "one of the few places in New York where the sonically and socially progressive lineage that began with the Loft and carried on at parties such as the Gallery, the Paradise Garage, the Underground Network and Body & Soul lives on."

In tandem with the unique New York setting of this year's annual EMP Pop Conference, Ian Friday, Manchildblack and Afro Mosaic Soul have teamed up with the EMP Pop Conference to present a special evening of one of Gotham's hottest underground dance parties: LIBATION (The Global Soul Experience)! On Friday, March 23rd, people from all walks of life are invited to come down to the NYC hotspot Sullivan Room for an evening of dancing that Time Out New York has famously called "a full-on throwdown." Resident mixologist Ian Friday (Global Soul Music) will spin a seamless set of deep, underground, soul-drenched music. 21+
