Ocha Records label head, Carlos Mena, returns with remixes by Osunlade and Boddhi Satva

Carlos Mena has attained a reputation as one of dance music's hottest rising stars, for his DJ sets and his production on various labels, including his partner's Yoruba Records. Here he reminds us that it is his gift of spoken-word that had earned him numerous accolades.

Mena's original mix, with organs and horns, ride his trademark percussive beats, while taking us on a spoken journey that invokes the spirit of dance. The things get deeper with Boddhi Satva's Ancestral Soul mix, which moves more to the tech side in a very soulful way. While Loveslap chief, Charles Spencer, and BEMBE co-host, DJ Cecil provide two savory mixes to represent the Bay Area.
