There ain't no stoppin' for Cabana Recordings as they follow up the recent blazin hot "After The Rain" EP by RadioLab with yet another paramount truly eclectic release by Doug Gomez entitled "Pura Vida EP". Three tracks are included on this EP which is all about no-nonsense afro house music, with the captivating title track "Pura Vida" fusing mesmerizing percussive rhythms with grand guitar, classy jazzy keys and ethereal chords. "Our Thing" is on a more laidback tip, with gentle rhythms leading the way for grandiose jazzy keys and superlunary chords, and finally there is "The Offering" an unbelievably hypnotizing afro-deep track oozing with utterly enticing cosmic melodies.
