Lil Louis (Louis Burns) is an internationally renowned artist, producer, songwriter and author. For the past 12 years, he has been in labor with love, hard at work on the most important and revolutionary masterpiece of his career, a book and CD that in unprecedented fashion will be released simultaneously. The book entitled “A Man’s Diary” is a controversial true love story about his lifelong pursuit in finding a good woman. The CD, aptly titled “Two Sides to Every Story”, is a musical answer to the book, written ironically by Louis, from a woman’s point of view about the joy, pain and haertache of being with Lil Louis.
Louis, one of the top selling dance artist of all times, has released two prior albums on Sony and Polygram “From the Mind of Lil Louis, which featured the bigggest selliing dance song in history “French Kiss” (6 million copies worldwide) and “I Called You” and “Journey with the Lonely”, which contained the hits “Club Lonely” and “Saved My Life.”
He has produced and written/co-written for many prominent artists including Jay-Z, Lil Kim, Babyface, Meshel N’degeocello, Groove Theory/Amel Larieux, Donna Summers and Louie Vega as well as produced for soundtracks including Jason’s Lyrics and Woo. Originally form chicago, Louis began his career at 12 years old as a DJ,becoming one of the biggest DJs in the world. He is one of the founding fathers of House Music.
