[LARD032] Tony S - The Omerta EP
Tony Stevenson (Tony S) has been writing, performing and recording music for many years. A former bass player, he studied jazz with English and American teachers as well as doing session work for a number of UK pop / rock bands and performing in various venues in the UK, France and Belgium. Over the past three years, he has turned to DJing and producing deep house music, and is one of the founding resident DJs at the infamous tabula rasa underground parties in London, sharing the bill at parties with names such as Maya Jane Coles, Matt Tolfrey, Roberto Rodriguez, Alejandro Vivanco, Soul Minority, Pete Gooding, Lee Curtiss and Miss Jools. He has also played at The Big Chill festival, after parties at London's Roundhouse venue following acts such as Faithless, Underworld and Chemical Brothers and various other parties and club events in the capital. "The Omerta EP" is his debut release on Look Ahead Records composed of two different versions of the title tune "Omerta", and another track entitled "Known Unknowns". Apart from the original version of "Omerta", there is a remix by Brian Logstrup aka Desos. Brian, who has already appeared on Look Ahead Records with his brilliant "Smokin' EP", continues to deliver excellent music, which he proves with his own version of "Omerta".
