This has to be the saddest story I've read today

This has to be the saddest story I've read today..I'mm truly embarrassed to be a human being :(

You see a young black lady on your porch and you shoot?? demanded Bernita Sparks, the aunt of slain Detroit 19-year-old Renisha McBride. McBride was shot in the head and killed when, according to her family, she was seeking help, knocking on doors in a white neighborhood after her car crashed.

There's more to this story than meets the eye. But yeah, tragic that she got shot but wouldn't you panic if someone came to your door at 3am? Unfortunately for her, the homeowner panicked and says it was an accident. Moral of the story, when you're in an accident, pick up your cell and dial 911 and don't go creeping around people's property in the dead of night. This is common sense because burglaries and home invasion are done this way so the bad apples ruined it for everyone else as is usually the case.

I agree that 3am is a bit late but still man..before you shoot dont you look first? or shoot first and hope it was a good shot then worry about it later? In any case it's a fucked up situation.

This story sounds just like this one ,just different circumstances, same end result. :(

Death of Yoshihiro Hattori

Yoshihiro Hattori (服部 剛丈 Hattori Yoshihiro, November 22, 1975 October 17, 1992) was a Japanese exchange student residing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States, at the time of his death. Hattori was on his way to a Halloween party and went to the wrong house by accident. The property owner, Rodney Peairs, shot and killed Hattori, thinking he was trespassing with criminal intent. The controversial homicide, and Peairs's subsequent acquittal in the state court of Louisiana, received worldwide attention.

Look, innocent black people get shot by black people EVERY day. This is only news because the homeowner was white. I my heart I feel what he is saying is true, it was an accident. If your adrenaline is high, you snap at the slightest stimulation. That's what happened here.

But in other news that's not blasted by the media, a black 6 year old was shot by a black person today:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/l...,6204802.story

This happens everyday. This is why white people are paranoid, and rightfully so, because SOME black people have no regard for human life, ESPECIALLY their own. When these things happen it's a REACTION to a bigger problem, black criminality.

Growing up in the Bronx you saw this first hand, I can't understand why you can't see why these things happen. The bad apples, which there are many, in the black community run willy nilly doing their crimes thereby tarnishing the image of black people among all other races. When these types of killings happen, it's a reaction to that, NOT RACISM.

To fix things the black community has some reflection to do. Stop their children from bullying others and in time that will restore the image of black people in the eyes of other races.

agreed..terrible shit going on with blacks killing blacks and the same shit with hispanics ..I'm tired of it.. and GUN CONTROL is not going to fix shit.. buts its more about CONTROL than GUNS.

The cold hard facts. I agree with this guy. If more like this realized the truth, these things would not happen. Because to fix a problem you have to know what that problem is.

techy 11-18-2013 12:30 PM

The followup. I totally agree, again. The prosecution of the home owner is politically motivated and will fail just like the Zimmerman/Martin fiasco.

soul oasis 11-19-2013 08:35 AM

damm.. still to take someone's life is something. Unfortunate situation..

btw did you read about your boy George Zimmer? arrested and held without bail.. his ass is grass this time ! no protection and I wonder where is Hannity now backing him up !!

now that and he are an Epic Fail !
