[LRD051] Qmusse - Jazz Is Everything (Incl. Karol XVII & MB Valence and Kev Obrien & Chris Luzz Remixes)

Here we go with the latest release from a Barcelonian artist Qmusse, who has already appeared on our Loco Records several times. Now, his recent single “Jazz Is Everything” contains three versions of the title recording. Besides Loco Records, Qmusse has worked with the following labels: Gam Recordings, Soulman Music, Tokyo Red Recordings, I Records, Carica Records, Look Ahead Records, Kote Records, Exotic Refreshment, Nightbird Music.

On the remix, we have the Polish duo Karol XVII & MB Valence as well as New Yorkers Kev Obrien and Chris Luzz.

Karol XVII & MB Valence have already gained worldwide recognition for their work and popularization of their imprints: Loco Records and Loco Records Supreme. The duo's efforts were awarded by DJ MAG - a magazine for DJs that named the artists the best Polish DJs of 2008. Two years later, they were nominated for The Beatport Music Awards 2010 as Best Deep House Artist besides the likes of Gorge, Milton Jackson, Jimpster and Nick Curly. Karol XVII & MB Valence's sounds appeared on I Records, Neurotraxx or their own Loco Records, and their tunes got to top 10 of Beatport's Deep House chart and stayed there for a number of weeks getting a lot of support from the likes of Jimpster Aki Bergen, Nick Curly, Tom Middleton, Scope, Shur-I-Kan, Osunlade, Hideo Kobayashi, Kevin Yost, Gorge, Fred Everything, Sebastian Davidson, Eelke Kleijn, Darin Epsilon, Mark Knight, John Digweed, Bruno From Ibiza, Franck Roger, Roger Sanchez, Chopstick & Johnjon, or James Teej. Here, they complement the entire single perfectly by delivering a massive remix of "Jazz Is Everything".

Kev Obrien & Chris Luzz have recently decided to join forces in the studio. Kev has had lots of solo success with his EP on our sister imprint, Loco Records Supreme, as well as Brown Eyed Boyz and Deep Vein Audio. The pair's first productions together appeared this spring on Fresh Meat Records and Save Room Recordings, and those remixes as well as "Jazz Is Everything" now, are already gaining major support from big-time tastemakers such as Jamie Jones, Robert James, MANIK, Shur-IKan and many more.
