[Zero G Sounds 14] Keepalive – Platinum Chart Topper

ARTIST: Keepalive
TITLE: Platinum Chart Topper
FORMAT: Digital
CAT: 0G014
RELEASE: July 30, 2008

Keepalive is the sick bastard genius of Jeremy Flower, whose work with contemporary classical composer Osvaldo Golijov and soprano Dawn Upshaw has taken him to some of the finest concert halls in the world, provided the soundtrack for Francis Ford Coppola’s most recent movie, and even netted him a 2007 Grammy award. But when Jay steps off the concert stage he can be found rocking lofts and clubs in Boston, New York, and beyond. His debut as Keepalive features his signature melodic sensibility, lush textures, and expert sound design. Platinum Chart Topper captures intricate percussion layers over a rolling tech-house groove with a rippling melodic lead that harkens back to Luciano’s earlier work. This and That is a frenzy of glitch and driving beats that is perfect for a raging underground party. Six Million Dollar Life Insurance Plan is a glorious techno anthem with a head-ripping bass line that leaves no prisoners. Failure is creepy tech-house with a tight swinging feel that features a crowd pleasing breakdown. Rounding out the record is Next, a dark and rolling techno jam perfect for the late night set. Keepalive, bitches!

"Keepalive - Platinum Chart Topper(Zero G Sounds / 014)

Enjoy!
