http://onfinite.com/libraries/151012...40/405/cbc.jpg It's TIME FOR LOVE! Kimara Lovelace is a name that transcends Dance Music. At the tender age of 9, she performed in the most prestigious venues like Harlem's legendary Apollo Theatre, and The Cotton Club and was Stephanie Mills' understudy on Broadway's The Wiz in 1979. Kimara's first hit Dance single on King Street Only You released in 1995, remixed by super star Danny Tenaglia hitting top five on Billboard's Club Play Chart. Her follow-up, a remake of Atlantic Starr's classic Circles dominated the Billboard Club Play charts in 1997 taking the #1 spot from Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey. In 1998 Kimara became a legend on the club scene with her classic When Can Our Love Begin, also on King Street. All of the aforementioned songs found on this long awaited and long overdue original artist album. Other tunes such as the underground classics “Misery,” produced & remixed by the legendary L’il Louis, and “When Can Our Love Begin” (Timmy Regisford Shelter Anthem) and the highly-supported remix by UK producer Richard Earnshaw, “Far Away,” remixed by Distant Music’s Jon Cutler, as well as an unreleased cut “Magic of Love” (Alix Alvarez remix). Her vocal recordings continue to move us, while her live performances continue to thrill us. Reinvention is the art of a soaring diva, and Kimara Lovelace maintains her place among the best of them. 1. “Misery” (Lil' Louis Extended Mix) Written by Louis Burns. Produced & Mixed by Lil Louis.
