Dj Bruno is a Boston icon that has been djing in the Boston area since 1987. His early musical influences were Caribbean music, Latin music and Disco. He fell in love with House music in 1988. He fondly remembers how fun and free the music made him feel. In the early 90?s he was asked to take up residency at the legendary Boston Loft Afterhours with Armand Van Helden. He started his party UTOPIA in 1993 at the Paradise nightclub in Cambridge, Mass which after 25 years still continues to feed Boston?s appetite for House Music.

After a day of record shopping in NYC, he and a friend decided to go to Lil Louie Vega?s Birthday Bash at the SHELTER in June of 1992. He had never heard Louie play before, but always bought his music. That night would forever change his life as a DJ. He was so impressed with Louie Vega?s set he would go to the Underground Network party every Wednesday for one year straight ?92-93.\ to go hear Louie play.


Years later he would open for Louie Vega whenever he would play in Boston. This mix is dedicated to Louie Vega for his continued love of this music we call HOUSE. This four and a half hour mix is just a glimpse of his brilliance. There were so many songs he could?ve added but these chosen ones fit his tribute?????????.ENJOY!
