Joe Claussell has apparently been a big supporter of this latest 12" from deep house legend Ron Trent. It's not hard to see why. The A-side version of "In Time", featuring the quietly soulful vocals of Tkumah Sadeek, sounds like the sort of record Claussell has long championed - a comfortable, heady and calming fusion of jazz-influenced drums, twinkling pianos, subtle chords and wisely placed delays. It's the kind of track that puts its' arms round your shoulders and gently leads you towards the dancefloor. The flipside version is an altogether livelier proposition, with warmer bass and denser, more energetic, Afro-influenced percussion.
