Important info on the Archives Section..

This is just a quick note on the archives. It has come to my attention that various listeners are using stream rippers to download the files. The server and its bandwidth are limited to 25 concurrent connections for that reason. When a few or more stream ripper users log on, they connect to the server from 5 to 10 times each per file. If just 3 of these users are pulling a file, then the server maxes out its connection. In an effort to prevent this, I am trying many different solutions as the native WindowsMedia server cannot distinguish between the legitimate listeners and a stream ripper application. A plugin will soon be written to prevent this but in the mean time the server will limit connections to the archives and may have occasional redirects to the live stream when testing of new security measures. Please bear with us as we come to a solution to more equitably distribute the server resources.
